Pictured is our pastor Reed Benson and his wife Pat. Reed began his pastorate at BBC April 18, 2021. He is originally from the Lost Mountain community in Cobb County. He has been in full time church ministry for over 40 years. His last pastorate was at East Sylva Baptist Church in North Carolina. Reed graduated from Mercer University, Atlanta, with a masters degree. He was ordained to the ministry in 1984 by Dogwood Hills Baptist Church, East Point. He and Pat have two adult children and two grandchildren.
Pictured above are Sabrina and Samantha Bowen, who are our Mountain Movers Children/Youth Ministry Directors. Both are seniors at Wesleyan College in Macon where they also play on the school's softball team. Sabrina is majoring in early childhood education, and Samantha's major is special education. Both are minoring in sports management. They both live in Byromville.
